About me

I'm Will Johansson. I'm a deaf graduate student at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. I'm majoring in Computer Science. I was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and have lived in the Winston-Salem area for all of my non-collegiate years. I graduated with a B.Sc. in Computer Science from RIT in May 2009 and have since returned to RIT for graduate studies.

I'm a geek of many interests—computers, roller coasters, theatre, traveling and many more. I'm a hardcore UNIX power user, which is why I'm thankful of the UNIX background in Mac OS X. You might wonder why my site uses ASP.NET and runs on a Windows Server, but who cares. Variety is important to me. I've been involved with NTID theatre, in particular the fantastic play, Lysistrata. Finally, my love of traveling is evident with all the places to which I have been. I've been all over the United States and western Europe. My favorite place thus far is Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Of course, being a computer science major most likely means that I write software.
